Launched in 2000, the J12 was the first watch to dare transforming high-tech ceramic into a precious material. By multiplying it in variations and venturing into the creation of mat surfaces, limited editions and exceptional pieces, fifteen years after its creation, Chanel continues to pay tribute to this watchmaking icon.

This year at Baselworld, Chanel is unveiling the new J12 Skeleton Flying Tourbillon. The black matte high-tech ceramic case is topped with a 18K white gold bezel is illuminated by the flange of the dial, in 18K white gold  and set with 74 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The finely perforated dial offers a glimpse of the skeleton movement, which plays on variations of black – matte, polished and shiny.

The tourbillon is stylized with a precious comet set with 30 brilliant-cut diamonds and a cabochon in 18K white gold set with 19 brilliant-cut diamonds. This tourbillon is without an upper bridge and is the result of close collaboration between Chanel and Swiss master watchmakers Renaud & Papi (APRP SA).
